I’ve always been a fan of Binary Logic. In it, you only worry about the 1 and the 0, the BLACK and the WHITE, the TRUE and the FALSE, the YES and the NO. I like reducing everything to two states. I hate gray areas. I hate in-betweens. I can’t help it, I’m like wired that way.

Schrödinger’s cat, often called a paradox, is a thought experiment devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger around 1935.
Anyway, it’s like this: a cat is placed in a sealed box with a sealed vial of poison that will break open at an uncertain time. Since no one knows when or if the poison is released, until the box is opened, the cat is thought of as both alive and dead. One can only pick a state — dead or alive — when the box is finally opened and the cat is seen.
It’s like … hmmm … maybe it’s like when you like someone and you are not sure if they like you back or not and you haven’t even opened the box — crossed a line, dropped hints, told them, asked them out, argh, whatever else analogy you can think of — what that something between you and that someone can be actually thought of as REAL and IMAGINARY, THERE and NOT-THERE, FACT and FANTASY blah-blah-blah-yakkity-blah. Not until you take that risk, tell them how you feel, and find out once and for all what the heck is going on around here, will you know IF THE CAT IS ALIVE OR NOT.

Blame The Big Bang Theory for this. It filled my morning and evening train rides with entertainment but rendered me unsociable since my friends couldn’t talk to me what with my ears covered with my gigantic headphones. I don’t care though if I looked like an idiot desperately trying to prevent myself from laughing. Ugh. Anyway, I already finished this season and will be waiting for the next so y’all can have my attention from here onwards — all the other TV shows have gone into hiatus anyway. Bummer.

we used to talk about things,
things that i didn’t know about,
things that i still don’t get.
well, it did look effortless,
me messing with all your mess.
you said i didn’t have to try,
you’re wrong, maybe i’ll tell you why.
coz i try really hard, actually,
and i haven’t even seen you,
and i haven’t even got through to you,
not the way that i want to,

i learned things the hard hard way.
guess ’twas all because of you,
hell, everything was for you.
but i learned to see some things,
accepted the comings and the goings,

even stupid nonsensical blabberings.

Nakakatakot ang maglakad sa kawalan
na hindi sigurado ang patutunguhan,
ang maglakbay na walang sinusundan,
ang bahala nang mapunta sa kung saan.
Isiping lulan ka ng sasakyang tatahak
sa kahit anong baku-bako at lubak
kaliwa, kanan, liko, diretso, di tiyak,
manibela’y mga kamay mo ang may hawak.
Kayanin mo kaya ang walang kasiguruhan
at ibasura ang mapang pinagkakatiwalaan?
Ang maligaw, mawala, magulumihanan,
hayaang tangayin ng agos ng kapalaran?
Isnabin na ang alinlangan at sige sumabak
na lang sa kahit ano kahit man ikapahamak.
Di lahat ng bagay ay pinaplano’t binabalak,
minsan minsa’y sulit rin naman ang di tiyak.

For some unknown reason, this song has been stuck in my head for quite a few days now (intersperse the LSS realm with *that song* from the movie Once) and I can’t get it out. But hey, I don’t even wanna expound on the significance of this song to me and whether there is or isn’t one in the first place. It’ll just be a waste of time and effort.

OMG, I LOVE SWOOPES! The defense is just way awesome. LJ was ice cold in the first half — missing everything! The Storm couldn’t buy a single bucket and it looked like Chicago might win the game. And then Swoopes stole all those passes and the game just went into a different direction. Hell yeaaaaah!
One thing — wahaha, palpak pa rin ang bench! Imagine, with 2 minutes left, we were up 15 and then the starters went out, tapos the Sky cut the lead down to 6? My Gaaaaaad!
LJ’s stats look a little, I dunno, mortal. Come on, feel the rhythm, super-aussie! We gotta get you back to Superwoman status, ASAP!
