① Trapped fixing UI horrors while having the remnants of last night’s migraine is the shiznits. I wanna go home and sleep.

② When I try to focus my attention on something for more than 40 minutes, my head revolts. Ergo, migraine.

③ Will try my hand in tennis tomorrow (because I desperately need to shift my attention away from the WC finals — craaaaaaap, L.A. won over SASS this morning). Hopefully said hand won’t hurt that much. I hurt it more than a couple of years ago trying to punch something really solid.

④ The Science of Sleep. Quirky, odd, weird, fascinating, confounding, amazing. Love love love love it.

⑤ if ( number of requests = number of limitations ) then { tinats.do( nothing ); }

⑥ 30 Rock is awesome. Very well-written comedy.

⑦ My TV shows are back. Halleluiah!

⑧ It’s been — what, 5 days since I last posted a 365 shot. Sue me. I have the right to be lazy, too.

Wooo! The Storm worked out some awesome Key Arena mojo, holding the SpOrks to just 50 points with no person in their roster over 11 points (LL with 11, CP3 with 10, DMJ with 11). The Storm, on the other hand, got another solid game from Sue Bird (20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists) and Shery Swoopes (16 points, 4 steals).
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to wake up for this game (waaaah) and I dunno if the dotcom webcast~ed this game. Haaay. But it’s all good, it’s all good.

hindi ko mahanap ang hinahanap ko
ke buong maghapon o buong araw man akong
walang katapusang maghalungkat at maghalughog
sa mga nakatiwangwang at nakasalansan
na mga bagay-bagay at walang-silbing kaalaman
mo, ko, natin, nila, o kahit na sino pa man.

hindi ko pa rin alam ang gagawin ko.
saan at papaano nga ba ang dapat na
ginagawang panimula sa bagay na gaya nito?
kakaunti pa lang naman talaga ang alam ko,
di maiiwasang sobrang mahilo at malito,
maburaot, mainis, mag-alburuto.

lintek na yan naman, kanina pa ako dito,
hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong
napapalang direksyon o ni anino ng plano.
hanggang kailan ba ako mangangapa dito?
sana nawa, dapat lang, siguro naman
magkakaroon din ng linaw lahat ng ito.

Crossroads

the sun comes up in the east
promising a good day ahead;
the rays shining through the mists
lighting upon paths to tread.

and yet that mocking uncertainty
that mercilessly plagued the mind
wouldn’t let go unwillingly
and let some things be left behind.

how does one pick up the threads
from where one once grinded to a halt?
will it be possible to move on
when one’s heart is set on going back?

there were moments not forgotten
yet there were cuts too deep to heal.
laughter, exhilaration, hope existed
yet the desperation was also real.

the paths are ominous but beckoning,
dangers lay abound cloaked by subtleties.
life has halted yet now it’s continuing,
once again rearing to show its anomalies…

more is promised in the days to come
before those eyes much clouded with doubt.
yet the board has been set, pieces waiting,
time has come for one to set those moving.
