Well, seeing that I got myself into this very expensive hobby this year, I might as well chronicle 2008 with, well, photos.
I was very very excited to finally start 2008 (if you must know, my 2007 was pure hell) that I got myself dragged to far far away Sea Paradise to watch the *meh* fireworks and get my ass frozen. We got stuck at Higashi-Kanagawa (for n loooooong hours) waiting for the first train. It was less than five degrees celsius. I am never going to do that again. Ever.
So anyhoo, let’s go take a look at what happened to my year ^_^ (warning, very long post ahead).
January
It was also January when I first got dragged (there’s a trend here somewhere, I’m just not seeing it at the moment) to a ski/snowboard resort to, well, try my hand (and my butt) at snowboarding. It was awesome! And painful! But still awesome!
February
February can be summed up with just one word — hearts snow! From snowboarding to bitching about it (coz it’s really hell to walk on snow slush) to just praying for Spring to come sooner — it’s all SNOW!
ETA: It was also in February when I finally bought a D40.
March
March is the birthday month slash hello-Spring-Yay-Winter’s-Gone month!
April
April is full of flowers (coz it’s Spring, ya see) and several bodies of water (from the Nikko Trip).
May
It was May when I started my Project 365 so it was kinda hard to pick some photos.
June
June was cheerleaders, cheerleaders, cheerleaders, cheerleaders, and oh — my room turning into a psychedelic checkered box.
July
July was *blah* allergies, nyor-nyoring suicidal slippers, and frakkin’ hot (literally scorching hot).
August
If July was hot, August was way off the charts. I swear I thought I was gonna be fried under the unforgiving sun. But eh — the sun didn’t stop us from wandering into Chiba (Tokyo Disneyland), Tokyo Bay (for the Boat Cruise), Yokohama (I ain’t gonna do this again — ever). Waittaminute, that would have stopped me (I would rather hibernate than go out into the heat), but my blockmate Elai took the bus from way south (Totori-ken) so off we went!
September
Was getting real tired of Project 365 so I tried to spice the photos up a little bit so I tried textures and experimented with bokeh. It was also around this time that we started playing Futsal and I also tried playing Tennis.
October
October is Sports Month.
November
I love autumn. ‘Nuff said.
December
Can’t wait to go home for a much-needed vacay. Weee!

Well. Yeah. So there. I’m already looking forward to next year — which is, like, less than a week to go.
Yehey… makakauwi ka na rin!
yehey!
huwaaaww.. ang gaganda!
weee! i love the photos
mapuno sana ang iyong 2009 ng marami pang astig at masasayang memorya, makahon man o hindi ng mga litrato at mga kuha.:)
These pictures are awesome, Kilcher! My favorite is the Showa Kinen Lake photo. Just beautiful!
Happy New Year!
