Gravity

sometimes, gravity just takes hold and pulls anything that has mass and occupies space towards the  ground — solid concrete or soft soil or grassy meadows or murky waters or wherever depending on where you are.

but then again, if it’s not the concrete, it’s towards another object, and that force of gravitation between you two is proportional to the mass of the pullee times the mass of the puller and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the elements involved — BUT, in this case, though, newton’s theory of universal gravitation was proven false, no amount of distance lessened the F.

so, i’m really sorry.

there was nothing i could do. you can’t fight gravity. no one could.

Boy and girl

If a 50 kg (110 lb) girl sat 0.5 m (19.7 in) from a boy who was 75 kg (165 lb), what would be the gravitational attraction between them?

Substituting the values into the equation, you get:

F = GMm/R² = (6.67*10-11 N-m²/kg²)(50 kg)(75 kg)/(0.5 m)(0.5 m) = 10-6 N or one-millionth of a Newton

That is a very small gravitational attraction, but it can be measured on a sensitive instrument.

Effect of Moon on person

The gravitational pull from the Moon on the 50 kg (110 pound) girl is:

F = GMm/R² = (6.67*10-11 N-m²/kg²)(50 kg)(7.35*1022 kg)/(3.84*108 m)² = 1.67*10-3 N = 0.00167 N

She would not notice the pull from the Moon, since the gravitation pull on her toward the Earth is 490 N. But still, she is attracted more toward the moon than the boy who was sitting next to her.

Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺, Kinkaku-ji Golden Pavilion Temple) is the informal name of Rokuon-ji (鹿苑寺, Deer Garden Temple) in Kyoto, Japan. It was originally built in 1397 to serve as a retirement villa for Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, as part of his estate then known as Kitayama.[1] It was his son who converted the building into a Zen temple of the Rinzai school. The temple was burned down twice during the Ōnin War.

GRB 080319B was a remarkable gamma ray burst (GRB) detected by the Swift satellite at 06:12 UTC on March 19, 2008. The burst set a new record for the farthest object that could be seen with the naked eye,[2] it had a peak apparent magnitude of 5.8 and remained theoretically visible for ~30 seconds.[3] The magnitude was brighter than 9.0 for ~60 seconds.[4]

I didn’t believe in destiny
I look up you’re standing next to me

What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
Brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, i don’t care
I’m yours and suddenly you’re mine
Suddenly you’re mine
And it’s brighter than sunshine

Okay, so Spartak showed they were human and actually lost to TEO Vilnius in their previous game before this, but they bounced back — mightier and more imperious than ever.

The story:

Lauren Jackson with 5 out of 6 three’s. She’s back!

Stat Sheet:

Lauren Jackson :19 points, 7 rebs, 4 asts

Sue Bird: 10 pts, 6 asts, 4 rebs, 3 steals, 1 TO

well, i am leaving room for the gloom of the impending doom
that i knew all too well from the start. really this possibility
of my heart shattering into tiny parts can be such a painful art,
it stings, it prickles, like being rained on with pins and needles.
but you see, i should be more than able to adeptly reassemble
those that were wrecked, fragmented, broken when one’s fallen,
glue them meticulously, paint them thoroughly, fix them fully
til they’re shining and shimmering and splendidly spanking new
ready for more, ready for what’s in store, ready just like before.

It’s not unusual for me to miss people. I mean, I also miss food and places and certain other things, so of course I also miss people. But see, what makes it not so bothering and emotionally-draining is the fact that I’m a pro at not getting too down because of it coz I can just fill my time with activities to get my mind out of missing a certain mass of matter wandering around somewhere else, somewhere not here. There’s photography, and sports, and the never-ending list of movies and TV shows that I have yet to watch, and photo-processing backlogs, and friends to talk to and trade insults with, and friends in far away places that I need to catch up with, and well, there’s the sleeping that I seem to be missing out on for the past, I dunno, couple of weeks. And oh — I still have books I have yet to finish (so sorry Terry Goodkind, you don’t deserve my slacking).

With that said, why am I suddenly feeling so unusual?

The answer is one word — ***
