I realized this morning that there’s no other person aside from you in this planet that I’d call instantly if I feel like the whole universe is ganging up on me. You’re also that only person that I would call just to complain (and fucking cry) about a chipped (literally) bloody toenail na hindi ko nararamdamang  magmumukha akong TANGA.

Maraming salamat. Ikaw lang nakakaintindi ng lahat ng kababawan at ka-brat-an ko mula nung simula pa. Haaay. Nagpapasalamat ako at nakilala kita.

PS — Ilang buwan na ang lumipas nasa Chapter 9 pa rin ako ng Confessor kumusta naman di ba? Naku kinakalimutan ko na sila Kahlan, Cara, at Nicci. At ay, si Richard Rahl pa pala haha. Yung bida ang kinalimutan talaga eh no? Anyway, bangenge na desu kara, salamats ulit 🙂

Sometimes we get way too focused on what we want to receive that we lose sight of what we’re already getting. Sometimes we expect way too much that we forget that there’s a limit to everything, that there are boundaries, that there are floors and ceilings and walls.

Sometimes we react way too early, way too harshly despite how passive and gentle our planned attack is. Sometimes we push people away even if we wanted them as near to us as possible. Sometimes we just simply drive them away or make them hide all the more behind the shells that they think protect them.

Sometimes we just have to take some things in stride. When people do (or don’t do) something you don’t (do) expect, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re out to get you or hurt your feelings or whatever. There are and there will always be a plethora of reasons behind such actions because, hey, you know what they say, there’s always an effin’ reason for everything.

Sometimes we get way too focused on what we want to receive that we lose sight of what we already have. And sometimes we can get too distracted by that that we don’t realize that there’s always the possibility that we’re gonna lose whatever awesome thing is being given to us. And sometimes all we need is just a little change in perspective, sometimes all we need is just a little bit of understanding, just so we won’t lose whatever that thing is.

Or maybe if it’s too mendokusai*, we can just think that, well, sometimes shit just happens. Let’s all get this over and done with. Shit will still happen, but life will go on. Oh yes, indeed, life will go on.

three years later, i’m still friggin’ cookie dough. i’m not yet ready. i’m not yet done. magulo pa rin ako as a person. hindi ko pa rin alam kung saan ako patungo, kung ano ang mga plano ko sa buhay, kung ano ba talaga ang gusto ko.

but i know i’ll get there someday (cue: hercules theme-song). sabi nga ng isa sa mga pinaka-astig kong kaibigan, “isa kang masarap at astig na cookie. wala naman yan sa tagal ng pagluluto..nasa quality yan ng isang cookie, so huwag kang mag-alala.” so, okay, nabura ang malaking porsyento ng aking pagkabahala sa pagiging ancient ko (kahit na hindi talaga halata) at kahit papano may panibagong perspektibo akong tinitingnan. kaya maraming salamat sa ‘yo. maalala mo kayang ikaw ang nagsabi niyan? tsk, rhetorical question yata yan.

omfg, so ancient! ang fossil-fossil ko na pero di naman halata haha. nagkakaroon pa rin ako ng moments kung san tinatanong pa kung otona (adult) ako sa resto at kung san pinagpipilitan ni ate na may-ari ng pinoy store sa seiseki na under-20 daw ako eh sabi ko nga hindi na. hay pero letch ang saya pa rin maging bata.

haha, wala nang sense to. di naman ako nag-iinarte at nag-e-emo no. masaya nga ako akshali. pwede nating isisi sa maraming bagay ang kagandahan ng mood ko buong linggong ito. halimbawa na lang iyung may nakausap ulit ako nang masisinsinan after ten thousand years of busy~ness, pati iyung unti-unti akong nagkakagana ulit sa pagkukuha ng litrato at paggawa ng kwento, at sa lahat nang nambulabog sa ym, at lalong lalo na dahil dun sa tsekerd guitar strap weeee! kaya ayun. astig!
