Seems like I’ve been unable to pick lately so I guess it’s gotta be a tie between:

5×01 — FRANKIE

For the awesome out-of-the-box mindfuck thing that is Francesca Fitzgerald, bullets for bitches, and her fabulous gay dads.

5×07 — GRACE

Because I like Grace Violet as a character and because this episode has Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.

Frankie was Viola dressing as Sebastian, Liv as Olivia, and Matty as the Duke of Orsino. Frankie wants Matty who wants Frankie back but can’t yet act on it because he’s currently with Liv who wants him, too. Grrr this Series 5, too much triangle.

5×06 — ALO

Aww man, this the first time I actually can’t choose. Is it going to be 4×02 Emily — where this screencap was from?

After thinking about this for two days — I was distracted from posting last night by that powerful video of Minami-Sanrinku in Miyagi Prefecture getting swallowed by a tsunami of debris and buildings with water — I still cannot decide so I’ll just cheat (yes, just like whatever Naomi did in that was exposed in 4×02) and declare that 4×02 Emily and 4×04 Katie are my co-favourite-series 4-episode. They’re twins anyway, they should go together haha.

Day 5 – Your favourite series

Series 3, OFC. No question. At all.

I mean, we got Katie and Emily with their twin thing, the Katie and Effy bashing the head with the rock thing, Freddie and Cook fighting over Effy, Tomo being awesome, Naomily, Pandora Frakking Awesome Moon, The Love Ball. And this is the series where all the cheating seems to be too far away from their minds yet (except the Freddy/Effy thing at the woods but whatevs).

Day 4 – Your least favourite character from each gen

Gen 1

Sketch.

Because she’s way too obsessed over Maxxie, despite the fact that he’s gay. And also because of the following exchange:

Sketch’s Mum: I didn’t bring you up to be a liar.
Sketch: You didn’t bring me up at all – fucking cripple!

Shaking my damn head at that.

Gen 2

Freddie Mclair.

I don’t necessarily hate Freddie. It’s just that, amongst everyone on Gen 2, he’s my least favorite. I think his character is a bit lame (compared to all the others) and I’ll probably pick Cook over him on the basis that Cook knows what he wants and all. I’m not really sure what to think of him finally getting Effy in Series 5 because I wasn’t focusing on that storyline lolz. Too bad he had to, like, die at the end of Series 5 in the hands of Effy’s shrink.

Gen 3

Nick Levan.

He’s the one character in Gen 3 that I felt like wasn’t whole enough, even though he sort of quit the rugby team because … of what exactly — his father? I dunno. He’s a jerk, fosho, but the writers sort of tried to soften that up. But still, you know, the whole business of being with Mini when he’s not in love with her, the sleeping with Liv while he was still with Mini, et cetera.
