the sun comes up in the east
\npromising a good day ahead;
\nthe rays shining through the mists
\nlighting upon paths to tread.<\/p>\n
and yet that mocking uncertainty
\nthat mercilessly plagued the mind
\nwouldn’t let go unwillingly
\nand let some things be left behind.<\/p>\n
how does one pick up the threads
\nfrom where one once grinded to a halt?
\nwill it be possible to move on
\nwhen one’s heart is set on going back?<\/p>\n
there were moments not forgotten
\nyet there were cuts too deep to heal.
\nlaughter, exhilaration, hope existed
\nyet the desperation was also real.<\/p>\n
the paths are ominous but beckoning,
\ndangers lay abound cloaked by subtleties.
\nlife has halted yet now it’s continuing,
\nonce again rearing to show its anomalies…<\/p>\n
more is promised in the days to come
\nbefore those eyes much clouded with doubt.
\nyet the board has been set, pieces waiting,
\ntime has come for one to set those moving.<\/p>\n
