I was watching the highlights from recent UConn games and I finally got to see what the fuss over <a href=\"http:\/\/fullcourt.scout.com\/a.z?s=427&amp;p=8&amp;c=1&amp;nid=1985775\">Maya Moore<\/a> is all about. She literally defies awesome, man. The moves, the jumpshots, the rebounds, the whatever-else&#8217;s &#8212; all smooth and beautiful. Auriemma did a very good job in snagging her &#8212; despite the whole recruitment thing being enmeshed in that messy hullabaloo with Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i6.photobucket.com\/albums\/y243\/kilch\/mayamooreunc.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"286\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Anyway, Atlanta JC wrote about their favorite Georgia daughter Moore in this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ajc.com\/search\/content\/sports\/highschool\/stories\/2008\/01\/19\/mayamoore_0120.html\">article<\/a>. Maya Moore is definitely better than advertised.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"template\"><span class=\"body\">The two-time national player of the year at Collins Hill is all New England&#8217;s now. A new Mayan culture is springing up around the 6-foot bundle of smooth. Granted, these people up here sure do talk funny, and they live part time in a meat locker, but they also take their women&#8217;s basketball seriously. It is a terrific place to build a legend, conveniently close to the myth-makers of New York City.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"justify\">Somehow, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wnba.com\/playerfile\/diana_taurasi\/index.html\">Diana Taurasi<\/a> comes to mind.
