\nthrough this long and winding road,
\nbelieving that i am not alone,

a cruel yet masterful mirage it was,
\nlike a truly realistic hologram
\ndestined to blind me away from reality,
\nmade to lead me away subtly…<\/p>\n
i’ve been living in that dream,
\nand what a dream it was.
\nit felt so real, it felt so real,
\nit’s almost so that it now seems surreal.<\/p>\n
and now i’m blatantly taken out of my stupor,
\ntime to wake up, it’s just a dream.
\nviolently torn apart despite the stubborn clinging,
\ntaken away from that incessant dreaming.<\/p>\n
and suddenly everything’s just a blur,
\na figment of the imagination conjured
\nby the longing caused by a battered heart,
\noh, curse that battered and wounded heart.<\/p>\n
and so i continue to walk, and run, and crawl,
\nand i wonder how much more til i drop
\nand i wonder how much longer til i can stop
\nand give up and just fall apart into nothingness.<\/p>\n

\nthrough the mess discarded from the cruel dream,
