The Opals or the US? A host of current and former Storm players and a coach are involved. It&#8217;s really cool to see Birdy and AD rejoice over the US women&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/sportsillustrated.cnn.com\/2008\/olympics\/basketball\/wires\/08\/23\/2030.ap.as.oly.bko.united.states.australia\/index.html\">92-65<\/a> victory over the Australian Opals but it&#8217;s really really hard to see the disappointment painted on Lauren Jackson, Tully Bevilaqua, and Suzy Batkovic&#8217;s faces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kilcher04.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/og2008_aus01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-291\" title=\"Beijing Olympics Basketball Women : Aus Opals\" src=\"http:\/\/www.journal.kilcher04.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/og2008_aus01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"342\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But in the end, one team has got to emerge on top. And it was the US, who got their fourth straight gold.<\/p>\n<p>BTW, so LJ&#8217;s gonna have ankle surgery after the Games.
